My new experience on meditation

Starting to learn mindfulness meditation from venerable Kai Lv. Try to practise what had venerable told me, keeping to do them in my daily life. Things that i should do is just need to realise evey little tiny thing that i have done from the moment i wake up when begin open my eyes in the early morning. of course, when i wrote till here, u will think these things are really easy and simple to be completed. ya, at first i also thought in this way and i told venerable with confident by saying "ya, i can do these! "

But things seem not really running smoothly as aspected, although i myself did all these things but no matter how my brain can't even remember every little steps that i have done when i try to refresh back.
e.g. i manage to step which leg on the floor first when i get up from my bed, and then i use my left hand to open the door; when i want to brush my teeth i usually will brush which side first, what i hv realised during i am brushing my teeth? the odour of toothpaste? the flowing water's sound and etc..

Usually many of us just feel that this kind of simple things why should we realise them and concern about what we have done, i am also thinking in this ways while starting to learn this kinda mindfulness meditatation.
It looks like simple that i can realise all of these little tiny things but i still manage cannot do it mindfulness always, i am still forget i get up from my leg using which side of leg. But then i realise that if we really concern about every thing and every little moment in our life, we will begin to appreacite it! Definitely appreaciate our body given by our parents, we really can't do nothing without it.

Nevertheless, i try to practise to be mindfulness most of the time in my daily life. May be it's not easy but i want to challenge it! Yes, i can do it!

Three things in life

Three things in life

three things in life that, once gone never come back:
  • time
  • words
  • opportunity
Three things in life that can destroy a persons:
  • anger
  • pride
  • unforgiveness
Three things in life you should never lose:
  • hope
  • peace
  • honesty
Three things in life that are more valuable:
  • love
  • friends and family
  • kindness
Three things of life are never certain:
  • fortune
  • success
  • dream
Three things in life that make a persons:
  • commitment
  • sincerity
  • hardwork
These are what i have read from a PPB magazine ...
Only three things in life, they are able to change everthing. I do believe on law of attraction, there are field around us no matter the positive energy or negative energy whenever we think, talk, action,everything... In facts, we can change everything around us if we are able to control this field.
Thus, have a right and positive thought in our life we can make it!

Old or young folk home?

It is amazing when you try to recognize and understand what have happened on your surrounding. This was what i have learned today when my family and i have a visit to old folk home during this raya aidilfitri. I saw many grandma and grandpa there. Some of them cannot eat properly, have Alzheimer's disease, even some of them are blind. While some of them are really 'young' in mind, they love to chat with others and 'acts' like a child...While some of their memory are really good, they will not forget what you have promise. It's really difficult to take care of these vary attitudes grandpa and grandma unless you are patient enough!!!

The master of old folk home (a lady aged 60++) said that, even though she faces a lots of problem when caring this people but they still feel worthwhile and satisfied to do so when see these grandpa and grandma are able to chat with their friends and smile when see their family or outsider take care on them. Their thought are not aligned on negative site but begin to accept their new home.
and feeling 'young' to have their life in future.

Really touched if you approach with them and heard their stories.I felt amazed when heard the master told us her experiences in old folk home. One incident that really impresses me is how the master solve a situation when one of the grandpapa try to commit suicide. Needless to say, she is really brave and patient enough just like mother Teresa...Her spirit is what we should learn when we care our parent in future, because they may also become old grandpa and grandma one day. We should care on them like how the give us care and love since we were an infant.

We cannot deny that we will become old one day, but do we all imagine our life when we are going to be a old woman or old man in the future? I do think about this question oftenly. To become what types of old woman and old man, it depends on what are your karma and the most important your deeds and thoughts...Want to become an old FUDDY-DUDDY or MODERN grandpa, grandma. We choose ourselves!!!

In nuts, remember we should not only take care ourselves but also our parents...keke...
